One team in Athens, running group trips since 2025
Solo Travelers Greece started in Athens as a Greek brand for Greek travelers: group trips for people who wanted to travel and whose friends couldn’t get the same dates off. Since 2025, more than 1,000 travelers have come on more than 40 of our group trips, in Greece and abroad. Greek national TV and the press covered it, and our Greek Instagram account has around 87,000 followers.
The English trips are new. The team is not. The same people in Athens who plan the Greek trips plan these, with the same rules: central hotels named before you pay, a licensed guide at every site on the program, and what’s included written down before any money changes hands.
Who we are
A team based in Athens: the people who plan the trips, the trip managers who travel with the groups, and the licensed guides we work with at each site. The founder of Solo Travelers Greece runs the company from Athens. We write to you as “we” because that’s how the trips are run.
What we hold ourselves to
- Groups of 16 or fewer.
- Central hotels, named before you pay.
- A licensed guide at every archaeological site and museum on the program.
- What’s included and what isn’t, in writing, before you pay.
- A trip manager from Athens with the group from the first dinner to the last morning.
- Dinner together on the first night.
